The Sante Croce is a magnificent Gothic church built in 1294 and whilst exploring the frescoed interior, you will also come across the tombs of many celebrated Florentines such as Michelangelo and Galileo. Stroll across Florence's oldest bridge, the Ponte Vecchio, a wonderful structure with a fascinating past.

Once you have built up an appetite, wander over to Via de Macci and dine at the highly sought after Ristorante Cibrèo. The smells and flavours of authentic Italian cuisine cannot be surpassed and the chefs here know all about pleasing your taste buds.
