Pafos

Land of Love

Pafos has always been a popular tourist destination. The diversity of the island's scenery; its friendly locals; the tranquility of the daytime and the pulsing atmosphere at night; not to mention the delicious tastes of local Greek cuisine will undoubtedly cast a spell on you.

Find yourself mesmerised by the ancient mosaics that graced the floors of homes of Roman nobility in the 3rd century. Visit the Tombs of Kings carved into rocks on the sea cliffs and Pafos Castle, built originally as a Byzantine fort. Aphrodite's birthplace Petra Tou Romiou is a romantic spot where legend has it that the Greek Goddess rose from the waves.

Visit Kato Pafos, with its picturesque harbour, where you can enjoy the day's catch in one of the fish tavernas or browse through the many lovely shops selling delicate lace and pottery. Enjoy a round of golf, a trip to one of the many beaches or a stroll in the countryside of the Akamas Peninsula.

dnata Holidays will assist you with your travel arrangements to Cyprus.
