Amandari is designed in the style of a local Balinese village and is located in the picturesque central region of Ubud, which is an hour's drive from Bali's international airport. The resort is nestled beside verdant rice terraces and overlooks the Ayung River and Valley.
With 30 thatched, courtyard-based suites, some of which conceal private plunge pools, the resort is carved out of local teak and coconut wood and also features marble and volcanic stone. The suites are awash with old-world charm, supplemented by warm, contemporary fabrics and accessories.
Amandari's Spa is situated at the end of an enchanting riverside pathway and surrounded as it is by a lotus pond, seems to float on water. The Spa offers a range of exceptionally relaxing treatments, complemented by the private yoga classes on offer in scenic outdoor settings. There is also a gym and large pool within the resort grounds. Caressed by soft breezes, The Restaurant serves Western and Indonesian cuisine.
